How to Apply
Please note that starting this year, SSHRC applications are to be submitted online through the SSHRC portal, including references. Transcripts are to be scanned and uploaded by the applicant to the portal. For detail, please follow the online application instructions provided by SSHRC.
In addition, students submitting a SSHRC doctoral application through York University are required to submit the Ontario Graduate Scholarship & Tri-Council Scholarship Information Form by October 13, 2020.
Transcripts
Transcripts with your complete academic record (undergraduate and graduate studies, completed and ongoing) are required. Accordingly, applicants are responsible for collecting, uploading, and confirming legibility of previous and current (including Fall 2020 even if no grades are available) post-secondary transcripts and upload them directly on to the application portal.
Due to the pandemic, SSHRC has indicated for the Fall 2020 scholarship competition, they will accept unofficial transcripts if official transcripts cannot be obtained. For details, please visit this joint news release from the Tri-Council.
To access your York University unofficial transcript, please visit the Order Transcripts Online page and request for your unofficial transcript to be emailed to you.
