The York Graduate Management Consulting Association is proud to announce the creation of a Certificate in Business and Consulting. The certificate is designed to provide graduate students and post docs with fundamental knowledge in key areas of business and consulting in order to broaden their career options.
The format of the certificate will involve ten 2-hour classes delivered by business professionals across five weeks, followed by a capstone business case analysis and presentation. Classes will take place in the GSA Conference Room (Student Centre room 430) from 6:30-8:30 PM. The syllabus for the certificate can be found below (Note: there are no classes during reading week and the order of topics is subject to change).

The certificate is free for York graduate students and post docs, but a $100 deposit is required, which will be collected at the first lecture (Cheques can be made out to “York Graduate Management Consulting Association”). To receive the certificate and the return of your deposit, you must attend at least 8/10 classes and participate in the capstone business case analysis and presentation.
