This day-long event offered for graduate students by York University Libraries will cover the basic data management and research computing skills needed to get more out of your research in less time. Covering everything from how to create a data management plan to how to clean your data and visualize your data with R, this workshop will help you take your research to the next level. Presentations offered during the event will include:

  • Managing Data and Research Materials
  • Data Cleaning with OpenRefine
  • Data Cleaning with R
  • Data Visualization with R
  • Citation management with Zotero
  • Version control with Git and Github
