Do you want to learn how to share your cutting-edge research? 3MT (Three Minute Thesis) is an international research communication event where graduate students present their ideas in a cross-disciplinary forum—and develop skills that will help in their careers.
At 3MT, each student has three minutes to present their research and its impact to a panel of non-specialist judges and peers. The exercise develops academic, presentation, and research communication skills. It also supports students' ability to explain their research in language that can be understood by an intelligent but non-specialist audience.
Each university hosts an internal competition and the winner will be invited to the Ontario Three Minutes Thesis Competition.
